Keep the Annual Sales Kick-Off within India - without losing the sense of escape an international offsite usually delivers. 140 of CRIF's sales leaders needed a departure that still felt like one, minus the passport.

Mumbai to Goa and back · 3 nights, 4 days aboard the Cordelia Cruise WHAT WAS THE BRIEF CRIF High Mark's annual sales kick-off was built entirely around a cruise; sailing out of Mumbai, docking in Goa, and sailing back to Mumbai. The brief called for open water landed during a tense geopolitical stretch, which meant every part of the plan needed a backup, and none of it could show on deck. We ran the event ourselves, start to finish planned execution; vendors, production, guest stay, guest logistics, and on-ground execution for 140 delegates from the moment they boarded in Mumbai at 1 PM to the moment they disembarked four days later. EVENT EXPERIENCE DAY ONE - BOARDING IN MUMBAI Setting the Pace Before the Ship Even Sails The ship left Mumbai, and the first few hours set the tone for everything after. Pre-registered Check-in ran through entry cards and keycards, kept quick and controlled, so delegates weren't standing around while the ship prepared to sail. A safety briefing covered life on board, and what Cruise itself had to offer was from its ballroom to lounge bars and casino floor experience, and then the evening opened into a private pool-deck party: live music, food, informal networking, with hospitality, entertainment, and guest movement coordinated simultaneously to keep the energy high without losing operational control. DAY TWO - GOA, THEN BACK ON BOARD A Full Day on Shore, A Different Night at Sea By morning, Goa was already on the horizon, and the group moved ashore to Azaya Beach Resort, which became the day's anchor point: a flea market built for the trip, paragliding along the coast, stone and face painting, Goan food, and cultural experiences running side by side. Moving 140 people through several activities without anyone standing around took constant coordination of vendors, timing, and crowd flow. By evening, everyone was back on board for a change in tone: Bollywood performances, themed entertainment, and Roulette wheels, poker, and Blackjack tables, with the experience running well past midnight for delegates who weren't ready to let the night end. DAY THREE - THE FINAL NIGHT AT SEA Sailing Back to Mumbai With the ship turned back toward Mumbai, the last night was built as the centerpiece of the trip: an '80s Masquerade Ball Party that turned the deck into a different decade, with props and styling delegates could step into rather than just watch. Live singers and Entertainment, decor, and production all had to land inside one timeline; and they did, closing the voyage on its best night. DAY FOUR- CHECK-OUT After a beautiful Morning Breakfast with complimentary thank-you gifts BEHIND THE SCENES OF The Storm We Sailed Around None of them were left to chance. Knowing connectivity at sea would be unreliable and the week's geopolitical backdrop would stay tense, we built the contingencies before the ship ever left Mumbai: backup vendors, alternate timings, and a fallback plan for every moving piece that couldn't be allowed to fail in front of a guest. Hospitality, entertainment, logistics, and production ran as one unit rather than four separate teams, each with its Plan B already staged and ready to swap in. Four days at sea, a full itinerary, and a contingency plan for nearly every hour of it, and the only thing that reached the guests, exactly as intended, was the party. 140 DELEGATES | MUMBAI → GOA → MUMBAI | 3 NIGHTS, 4 DAYS AT SEA |
The mood shifted with every deck and every hour. Afternoons in Goa were sunlit and unhurried — Azaya Beach Resort's local flavours, water sports and flea-market colour standing in for the destination the brief couldn't offer. Evenings back on board turned inward: a private pool-deck gathering, theatrical shows, games and a casino gave the team room to talk beyond the agenda. And on the final night, the ship became a ballroom. The Grand Masquerade — chosen because a cruise already lends itself to masks, gold and shimmer — turned the open deck into a glamorous close to the voyage: timeless rather than themed, elegant rather than costume-party loud.
CRIF asked for India. What we built didn't feel bound by it. Three nights, one ocean, one Goan afternoon standing in for an entire getaway — proof that the feeling of "somewhere far" has less to do with a border and more to do with how deliberately every hour is designed. For 140 people, the kickoff didn't just stay within India. It felt like it had sailed clean out of the ordinary.
